Q: My daughter was traveling outside the country and dropped her iPhone 5S in water. After shutting the power off and placing the phone in rice for 48 hours, the phone powers on and can be charged, but part of the screen does not respond. Specifically, the letters "k" and "i" on the keyboard do not respond, so we are unable to unlock the phone (her password includes one of these letters). The home button works fine. If I send in the phone for evaluation, can you run diagnostics and let me know if this is repairable, and if so, give me the estimate?
