Q: My daughter spilled an "Izzi" fruit drink on her 2014 Macbook 13" and now it does not light up or anything. It is completely dead. We took it to the Apple store where they told us it would be $750 to fix. The serial number is C02N6UMEG085. Where do I get started on having a repair done?

Hi Mike, we recommend that you send it in for the water damage treatment. This will also include a complete diagnostic of your computer and if the cleaning does not fix everything the technician will discuss all of your options. It's very rare to see a computer that needs $750 worth of repair.
