Q: My daughter dropped her phone for the third time, and shattered it. For the third time, I replaced the screen. However, this time the new screen did not work; a light came on, the screen glowed bluish, but there was no picture on the phone. A second screen I bought and put on had the same problem. So it must be the motherboard. I cleaned all the screen connections with rubbing alcohol, and inspected them to see if perhaps some of the connections are broken, but they look alright to me. I'm at a loss. I told my daughter I think it is gone for good this time. Anyway, is there any hope for her phone at all? Or is anything I do now just a waste of time?

Hi Ellie, did you do the repair yourself? If you send in the phone or bring it to one of our walk-in locations with the screen we can provide you with a free diagnostic of what is going on.
