Q: Mac book air 13 inch mid 2013 got drenched in backpack approximately 1 month ago. Dried overnight and has been working o.k. until today when the screen exhibited vertical line approx. 2" wide through middle with left side of screen reversed. Can access hard drive, but local shop says water damage and send back to Apple for repair, at 875 dollars. Have you experienced this before?
