Q: I went to the beach with my iphone 6 in my pocket, when I got back I put it on charge and it was charging but a few hours later it wouldn't charge the next day. I was able to still use the phone but I couldn't charge it, it's now dead. I took it to an authorised apple reseller store and they said there is water inside and they will have to replace everything and it will cost $600 is there a cheaper option??

We recommend that you get it in to us as soon as possible so the water does not cause any additional damage. It is extremely rare for a device to cost that much for repair. For an accurate quote we would need to see the device and run a diagnostic on the extent of the damage.
