Q: I spilled water in my 9 week old macbook air. No power. Completely dead. Have you had success with fixing this exact same problem in the past. And what tend to be the extra charges over and above the initial $60. You seem like you have a great service for product that need fixing where the warranty can't help.

We have successfully restored many water-damaged MacBook Air laptops over the years. Water damage is unpredictable so it is hard to say what additional components may need replacement. Pricing varies depending on which additional components may need replacing and also the generation/model of the MacBook. Sometimes a basic cleaning is all that is required. If additional parts are needed, they will be quoted separately for you to approve before proceeding.
