Q: I like many others here have had some bad luck... Except, i did not drop my iphone 6 in a toilet or pool. I was sick, eating some chicken soup in bed & about a quarter teaspoon of soup splashed out & landed on my phone near the top mic. The screen did not go off, everything was the same on my home screen, EXCEPT when i dialed a phone number, I heard nothing!! I could only make a call & hear the person when i turned on the speakerphone feature. So i freaked out, went online & powered off my phone asap & found the "rice trick"....its in a bag of rice & i found 4 silica bead pkts from shoeboxes..so the phone is in a ziplock bag with the rice & silica-it said to leave it in for 36 hrs, so IF i cant turn it on, i will be calling you. Thank you so much!!
