Q: I have salt-water damage to my phone. However, I ran power through it (a mistake I realize now) but it initially worked a little irratically. Then it got HOT on the charger overnight and eventually went totally dead. Did I fry the mother board by continuing to run power through it after the water damage (stupid mistake)? Is it even worth considering fixing since it was salt water? Thanks!

Hi Andy, we have repaired many phones that have been damaged by salt water. You will only be charged for successful water damage repair service if we can power on the device to the point of being able to retrieve data.
