Q: How long after an incident would can I wait to check my device for repair? After I dropped my LG V10 in the toilet, I immediately took it apart and dried it. I then left it rice for a little less than a day and it worked for about two days after that. I remember, it was taking a while to load so I turned it off and I it wouldn't turn on. The closest I got to fully powering the phone on sent it into bootloop so I sent it in to LG for servicing. They took 12 days to diagnose it was water damage and/or corrosion from the water. I know have the phone back and am unable to power on or even get it to bootloop. Is it too late to even try to save this phone? Thanks,
