Need Help?

Q: Hi, I have two GoPro NBlack's that I use for recording bike rides. They both have the same issue: audio breaks down occasionally, and when it stops, it really stops dead. No sound at all. Then later on, I test the unit and the audio seems OK. I am worried about broken or bent audio connections, loose wires, etc. Maybe we could beef up the audio somehow -- ? I need new external audio connectors that are "right angle" style so they don't just stick straight out of the housing. That is a disaster. I dropped my bike once and bent the heck out of everything all because of the audio connector. I think you guys might have built those and have them on hand. I can't seem to find them online. I would actually like to build a live warning device that shows a blinking light when the audio is disconnected. It could be an in-line module of some kind, tiny and portable, that senses when audio is connected and when it is not. Lastly, GoPro offers fish-eye free lenses that you can install -- but it takes someone like you to do it. So I would like a price on that as well. I hope you know what I mean. You just replace the actual lens and it gets rid of all fish-eye effects. If any of this is over your head, maybe you can recommend a hyper-audio-geek for me. I know I am asking a lot. I want this done before the spring cycling season begins. Thanks! Stephen Marcus
