Q: Hi, A couple weeks ago, while out of the country, my iPhone received was submerged for a few minutes in saltwater. I did not have access to freshwater until the evening but I rinsed the phone out at that point. I let the phone dry out for several days and attempted to power it on with no success. After getting back home, about a week later, I took it to a local repair shop, where they told me the phone could not be fixed. I wanted to give it a shot on my own anyway, so I soaked the phone in rubbing alcohol and let dry for several more days. Now, when connected to a charger, it gets stuck in a reboot loop (red battery, Apple logo, black screen, repeat). I am mainly attempting to save the phone because I have realized many of my pictures were not properly backed up and I would like to recover them, so I have not tried to enter DFU or recovery mode, because I do not want my photos to be wiped out. Does this sound like a fixable issue?
