Q: Hello!! My Macbook Pro (13") was fried, thanks to a tea-spill. I dried it, as best I could, and left it face-down for hours. Subsequently, I took it to the Apple store, where I was told that the motherboard fried, and that it would need a complete refurb (removing and replacing everything but the keyboard and the screen). They wanted $750 for the service and labor, which I never happen to have laying around. That was a year ago, and I am still very interested in getting it fixed. If there is corrosion, do you think it would be beyond repair, at this point? If you all were to decide that the Apple Store guy was right, and I do need a complete refurb, how much would that run me? Do you run a diagnostic on the memory, also? Thanks, in advance...
