Q: Hello, I purchased a MacBook air for my daughter in December 2015. While on vacation, her laptop would not charge or turn on. I brought it to the Apple store and was told there was liquid damage and the logic board has corrosion and would need to be replaced. They quoted me a cost of more than I paid for the laptop just 9 months ago. I know for a fact there was no liquid spilled on the laptop, but do know it was in a hot car, in its bag for about 6 hours. Can you please tell me if this sounds like something you could fix and what price range I am looking at for the repair. Thank you!
