Q: Have a Droid Turbo 2 that had just the top (speaker area) dropped in water. The phone still powers on but gets stuck in a boot loop on the initial Motorola white circle logo screen that says, "Powered BY Android" at the bottom. I sent it to Motorola but they sent it directly back without any explanation as to why they sent it back. After a call, the answer was simply, "...water damage." I'm pretty sure they just opened it up, saw that the little red Xs were blured and did not actually try to see what the actual problem was. As stated, the phone turns on, all of the display works, it accepts charge and even to fastboot and all boot menu items work. It just won't load in to the actual OS. Before the water event, the phone had some trouble with it's storage suddenly reporting full and a problem with the sound. Am I lost on this or is this something that might have a chance?
