Q: About 2 weeks ago someone dropped my phone in the pacific ocean. We were at the beach and it fell between two rocks. They looked for it for about 30 seconds and couldn't find it, shortly after i found the phone but it was non responsive and felt heavy as if there was a good amount of water in it. As soon as i got home i put in in rice and let it sit for about 48 hours before taking it to "U break i Fix". After about a week with no response from the company i called and found out that the phone had to much corrosion and was unsalvageable. Which is more so depressing because i had passwords and memory on the phone that i still need to this day. I also have a back up phone that hadn't been working that i swapped out to see if they (U break I fix) could fix it. They told me that due to the water damage on the chip that controls the brightness of the screen, THAT phone wouldn't be able to get fixed either. So I'm just wondering if these are problems that can be fixed with this company.
