Q: What should I do next? I dropped my iPhone SE. It partially burst open the front screen starting at the top and down the left, volume button, side. It now has a totally black screen, although if I press the home button, a light can be seen as on through the split, and I continue to be able to hear sounds. Current Status is; My iPhone SE has a black screen, won't hard reset , cannot see it on iTunes so cannot restore. Is not showing when connected to my MacBook Pro. I can hear sounds from the phone when I connect to my MacBook Pro, but it is not recognized. I can hear sounds when it is not connected to my computer, even without a SIM card installed. I want to save the data on the phone if at all possible, because I have been unable to locate the backup. If I send my iPhone SE to you for diagnostic assessment do you require that it have an active SIM card? Currently I have the SIM card in my back up iPhone. Many thanks, Courtney Bowles-Papatestas
