Q: Surface Pro 4. My battery has expanded and pushed the edge of the screen outward about a 1/2" on the left side. The device works fine. Is this repairable.

The battery definitely needs replacement, so you can send it in for Surface Pro 4 battery replacement for that. If our technicians discover that any other components have been damaged by the expansion and pressure, they would let you know and you would be quoted separately for those repairs before they proceeded. Since the device seems to be working well otherwise, a new battery may be all that is necessary, but again, we'd have to see it just to confirm.
