Q: Surface 4 indicates the battery is charging, But suddenly the laptop stop working with the battery only, requires an ac adapter to turn on. Remove AC Battery the computer shuts down. Run battery test and indicates is working and charging. Upgrade de ACPI driver. Do I need to replace the battery?

It sounds like it could be the battery. The best plan would be sending it in for diagnostic. That way we can know for sure after seeing the device. We don't proceed with any repairs found during the diagnostic until we have your approval.
