Q: My wife had a container of milk in her purse with her Surface Pro 4 which of course leaked and got into the PC during the day. I cannot turn it on right now at all and the power cord light does not indicate it is attempting to charge it. Do you believe it is worth the effort of trying to repair it? Also, to be clear on the cost, is it $59 plus shipping and then replacement parts? Essentially I'd like to know how much it will cost me if I go through with this and you are unable to fix it. Thanks in advance. VR, Kevin McLaughlin

Kevin, yes you are clear on the cost. The basic cleaning process is $59 plus shipping. If other parts are required to get your device powered up, those are quoted separately and not installed until we have your approval. If you should decide that the repairs are not worth it, you would have spent just the $59 plus shipping at that point.
