Q: My son has a i-phone 6 under warranty that he keeps in a Life-proof Nuud case and appears to be in perfect condition. Recently the phone has been turning off on its own and getting stuck in rebooting, I took it to the “genius bar” and they updated the software then ran diagnostic tests on the phone. The diagnostics revealed all was good except the Siri microphone and said they would replace that part. After opening it they said the phone was water damaged and would not be fixed under warranty. I went on line & learned about the water sensor in the simm card tray and that is white not red. He does not care about the Siri microphone so I took it home in working order and backed it up to I-tunes on my son’s computer as the “genius” recommended. When my son disconnected the phone from the computer it went into a continuous reboot loop and cannot restart it. We have ATT insurance with a $150 deductible and wonder if it would be worth trying to have you replace it or simply make the insurance claim. I live in Ft. Lauderdale and don’t see a location here, your advice would be greatly appreciated. Jeff
