Q: My mom had her new iPad Mini 4 LTE knocked into a very hot, natural hot spring water in the middle of nowhere. The iPad Mini was fully submerged for a few seconds and that extreme heat made the iPad extremely hot when it was pulled out of the hot sulphur spring water. The power button and volume up button stopped working so I couldn't turn off the iPad. The LCD had large water stain inside it covering about 75% of the display. We couldn't do anything with it as we were still a 8 hour journey back to home. As time went on, within 24 hours conditions of the iPad deteriorated as I couldn't turn it off. I put the iPad on warm heat to keep it warm for any water to evaporate quickly. The LCD turns on but the screen doesn't show anything of use anymore as it's flickering with blocks of different colours. Wifi worked as the pictures that were taken with it prior to the "swim" were uploaded to iCloud while the iPad sat on the heat at home. Does this case look like a total waste of money to fix?
