Q: My daughter dropped her phone in water and quickly took it out. The screen quickly flashed and went dead. I noticed later that her phone was not sealed on the side so water could get inside the phone. I was wondering could the motherboard be the issue. Phone still won't start and its been a couple months. How much would this cost to fix?

It sounds like the issue could be with the motherboard or other internal components. For iPhone motherboard repairs, costs can vary, but they typically start around $99.99 and go up depending on the extent of the damage. Bring (or mail) it in for a diagnostic, and we'll give you a precise estimate.
