Q: My dad fell in the lake and then took a shower with his phone. Local repair shop said that it is serious water damage and would cost $160. Would your services cost more or less?

Hello, water damage can be unpredictable. It is possible that it may only need a good cleaning (which would be $49.99 if it works). If additional parts are required, they will be quoted, we will not proceed with those replacements until we get your approval. However, we'd need to see the device and perform diagnostics to know what was going on internally.
