Q: My brother gave me his iPhone 5C, he said it was never dropped or wet. I tried charging it for a few hours and there was no display. I hold the Power+Home button for a few minutes - nothing. I replaced the battery and verified and all connects are secure - still nothing on the screen, no sound or vibration. When I connect it to my computer via a lighting cable iTunes recognizes it and gives the "... locked .. passcode" message. I tested both the old battery (3.6v) and the new battery (3.8v) - both are good. Any suggestions? New screen assembly perhaps?

Hi Mike, since your computer looks like it recognizes the phone, you might have a bad screen.
