Ipod click wheel 20GB.. Battery dead. Keep getting contact apple support( which is no longer!!) so plugged it into my iMac and the battery shows up on screen but not moving as if charging. only about 1/4 charge on it. I assume the battery. I love this thing and was a gift. Need it fixed?

That sounds like the battery rather than the click wheel, so this page isn't the right one. Send it in under the free iPod Classic 3rd gen diagnostic; we'll test it, confirm the battery, and quote before any work. A battery replacement doesn't erase your music.
