Q: Iphone 8 plus, I was pushed in a pool the phone was in my pocket I jumped out of the pool immediately. Dried the phone off it worked fine. Midday the following day when placing a call or texting the phone would freeze and reboot. I have reset erased all data, restored the phone - still same symptoms. Removed the screen heated the phone and screen with heat gun till hot to the touch, then sat the phone open over night in front of a fan. Replaced the screen, the phone is doing the exact same thing. Calling and texting freezes the phone up, can use apps fine it seems like however each time I text or call it will freeze and reboot. Is this phone toast or is there something else to focus on and clean or replace?
