Q: I put my phone in the washer. It was probably in there for three minutes. Still on and working (since I called to find it) I made a mistake and didn't turn off my phone and put it on the charger a couple hours later. Its an iphone 7 plus. It does not turn on now. Is this repairable? Thanks

Hi Val, we have repaired iPhones in similar situations in the past. Water damage is random and unpredictable, but we have had good success in restoring many iPhone 7 Plus. Sometimes thorough cleaning and drying cycles are all that is needed (currently $49.99 as of Dec 2018). It may be possible that additional parts and labor are required.
