Q: I have repaired several screens and other small repairs on iphones and have never seen this issue before. I have an iphone 6 that I changed out the battery, screen and back plate. When I re-assembled the phone everything went together well. I tried to power on the unit and nothing happened. I have checked my connections for the screen and battery and even tried other screens and batteries. The phone was working fine before, just a cracked screen and the battery was draining fast. The strange part is that when the phone is plugged into the computer it is recognized in itunes. The phone was asking for a passcode but I was unable to enter it because my screen wasn't displaying anything. I was able to restore the phone and upgrade the OS after a few failed attempts for corrupted files when it was trying to upload. I finally put it in DFU mode by listing to my computer speakers when the USB connection was established and was able to restore the iphone in itunes. Now that it is recognized I am still not seeing anything on any screen that I plug into this phone, there is no sound and it does not vibrate. I also noticed that when the phone was trying to do a restore it did not have a serial number. Now that I can see the serial number I cannot see a phone number even though my active SIM card is inserted. I have checked connections countless times to ensure they were seated properly and made sure they had a nice click when they attached. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
