Q: I have an iPhone 7 Plus that the microphone does not work at all. The microphone symbol will not activate when I try to talk to text or dictate to Siri and the speaker circle is grayed out when I make a phone call. I was told to try to do these things with bluetooth earbuds and if they worked then it is the Audio IC that need to be re-soldered. The mic worked with the bluetooth buds. Can the audio IC be repaired?
