Q: I can't figure out what generation my iPod is. Serial Number is 8K12547C9ZU; Model Number is MC297LL. It's a 160GB model. I could not get it to synch. Kept getting disc is corrupted prompts. Tried restoring. Got through it once, but then iTunes balked and started doing disc corrupt prompts again. Can you guys fix this?
