Hiya! I have an ipod shuffle 6th gen. I think the battery needs replacing. when it's plugged in, it works, but not when I disconnect the cables. Also, I have it full of music and would like to pull the tracks onto my mac. Should I do this prior to sending in to you? I don't want to lose it.

Yes, pull the tracks onto your Mac first if you can. A battery job doesn't erase anything and we don't wipe devices, but a backup is the safe move. Then send it under the free iPod diagnostic and note that it's a Shuffle; we'll test it, confirm the battery, and quote before any work.
