Q: Hi! Two nights ago, I accidentally spilled a little bit of my vodka lemonade on my roommate's Macbook. It was just a splash, but it just so happened to fall into the crack right in between the keyboard and screen. We took it to the Apple store and they said there were some splatters of liquid damage and it would be $750 to repair, and we are both broke, recent college grads! Is it too late to fix it? I would say the damage is slight to moderate, but the laptop is still not powering on or charging. Please let me know if this is something we can recover from without breaking my bank! Thanks!

Hi there! Each water damaged device is a case by case basis. We do carry a very high success rate at fixing devices with liquid damage, even vodka lemonade! We'd recommend sending it in for our cleaning/repair service, where we'll disassemble the entire computer and clean each and every component. Once we know everything is clean, we'll test each part to see what, if any, are damaged. From that point, if anything needs replacement, we contact you with a quote. The average cost for repair usually comes in around $120-$150. Hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions, we'll be happy to help you out. Have a great day!
