Q: Hi, I sent my MacBook Pro retina 13" into the Apple Store because my trackpad was not responding. Everything else about the computer was working find I could even plug in a mouse through the usb and it would work fine. They came back saying there was water damage in my computer and that it would cost $750 to fix. So would all I need is the $60 water damage repair or will my trackpad need to be replaced if it's not responding and how much would this cost? Is this something you guys can fix?

Hello, Depending on the severity of the damage would determine what all it would take to get the device fixed. The cleaning service runs $59.99. If it needs any additional parts, we would contact you with a quote for repair. It could need just the cleaning, a new trackpad cable, or a new trackpad. Anyway you slice it, the device can be fixed .
