Q: Hi, I dropped my iphone in the toilet for 2 seconds, took it off, wiped it off and then like an idiot let it on. An hour later the screen started to become red. It went from red to the rebooting apple logo. I couldn't shut it off for a while. I managed to shut if off and then place it in a bag of rice. Left it for 48 hours. I went to Tekserve in nyc, they opened it and said there was no liquid damage, no corrosion whatsoever on the phone. They couldn't fix it because they follow apple guidelines and they would just replace it like apple would do. I have read online that changing the battery would fix the problem. I purchased a battery but it still doesn't work. I have apple care but I want to be able to recover my data since I haven't backed it up. Would it be possible to fix it without erasing the data in it?
