Q: Hello Someone spilled a beer on my 2013 Macbook Air. We immediately dryer it off and let it sit for 48 hours before attempting to power it on. However -it would not power on and the MagSafe light would not work - no green or amber. I took it to the Apple Store yesterday for a diagnostics and they indicated that there was evidence of liquid damage and signs of corrosion on the board. Would this still be something that could be fixed? I am open to paying for repairs - just not $750 - when you might as well just purchase a new one at that price. The laptop is just at 1 year old and has been well cared for prior to this incident. If the device is not repairable - how much is the most that I would be out? Is there any warranty on the repairs?
