Q: Hello. So I accidentally spat out water on my MacBook Air yesterday. It got on the trackpad and then a little bit seeped into the space bar area of the keyboard (had a cover on the keyboard). Wiped up the spill, saw that everything was fine, went on about my business. Later that night I turned it on and the fan was running at the highest speed and it was running kind of slow. I figured that maybe the water did screw something up so I turned it off and flipped it upside down. Tried turning it on this morning and no response. My campus diagnostics team said that it was likely a fried motherboard or CPU, but they also said to wait a few days. Is that something I should do, or should I just send it in for repair immediately? I don't have a lot of time as a student so if it's fried, I want to get started with repairs ASAP. Also, assuming worst case scenario, how much max would I pay, including the original diagnostic? Thanks!
