Q: Hello, In having read your description of services I feel that you may be able to help me, but I want to make sure before proceeding. My laptop was siting on a table and water was spilled on the table and spread seeping underneath my laptop. The laptop was on, and the screen then died. I blow dried it and did not turn it on for a couple of weeks. I took it to the apple store where they opened it up and checked to see if there was corrosive damage (there did not seem to be any, or so the technician informed me) and proceeded to turn it on and run the diagnostic test. The computer booted up and turned on, it was running slowly but it did seem to be working. The battery was not recognized and powering the computer up after running the diagnostics was taking a long time. It then died again and I have not been able to turn it on again since. Being that I have turned it on (or tried) does that mean that you are now out of your jurisdiction to be able to help me? Or do you think your company could still help me?

Hi Nicole, We definitely can still help you out. Regardless of if you've powered it on or not, we can still fix it. It sounds like your battery may have shorted out. Also, a slow computer can be caused by other modular components failing. Either way, we'd recommend sending it in for our service, so we can clean it properly and test all the parts. Please let us know if you have any questions, we'll be happy to help you out.
