Q: Hello, I spilled coffee on my MacBook Air. I dried it and fanned it for 2 days. It still functions correctly, but the charger isn't working. The computer says the battery isn't charging, but it's getting power directly from the charger. I took it to the Apple Store, and they said there's something wrong with the IO board. I took it to another Apple Store, that actually opened it up, and they said there could be many factors why it's not charging (only because they saw a liquid damage). They're going to charge me $800 for the repair, but I feel like they're ripping me off. For the reason that the computer is still working, besides the charging port. Would you be able to help me?
