Q: Dear Sir/ Madam, I have a 2nd generation iPod that turns on has all the menu options and is operable and chargeable. However it doesn’t want to sync with the MacBook (old from 2006 with FireWire 400 port). I’m thinking it is the chip problem near the FireWire port (an often seen and heard malfunction). May question is, can this still be repaired? Kind regards, Arjuna Seetanah
