Yes on both. Send it in under the free Nano 7th gen diagnostic; we'll quote the battery replacement after testing and wait for your approval. If you'd rather supply the battery, include it with the iPod and note it in the order. We can usually install customer parts, but we can't warranty a part we didn't supply.
