Q: Battery replacement for Model A1040? I Making an assumption that it won't take a charge due to old battery. Would the $59.99 cover a diagnostic/battery replacement? I live in Des Moines, IA area. I am willing to ship.

$59.99 would cover the diagnostic and battery replacement. If the technicians found that something else needed repair, they would contact you and let you know before proceeding. If you choose the service from the website, a shipping label will be provided to you.
